I knew that i was heading down at the end of this month and i thought i would treat myself to it, especially with Halloween coming up, but first i wanted to do a lot of research first before i spent that amount of money, and i came across hundreds of blog posts and Youtube videos on yet another great find from China.

If you're not sure what this palette is or what it does, it's basically a cream coloured palette with 12 shades. The first two are shimmer shades, and the other 10 are just normal paints, that can be used for anything. You can custom make foundation, concealer, blush, bronzer, contour, highlight, lipstick, eyeshadows, liners.. the only thing it can't do is make a cup of tea. It's ideal for Makeup Artist because they only really need to bring this for jobs, and that's why i really wanted it.
So, back to the China version. It's called the 'iMagic 12in1 Flash Colour Palette' incase you're after it yourself. It cost me £7.29 plus £1.39 shipping, and it took almost 3 weeks to get here.

If you compare the original to the dupe, you can see they are pretty much the exact same, like twins. I thought when it arrived, that it was going to be awful. I thought it would be sheer and really whish washy and yet another thing to get put in the bin, but I was so wrong. If you look at the photo below, you can see that they're so pigment. I couldn't believe it. They also blend incredibly, and hold their pigment.
So, what are the catches? The one thing i hate about this, is that it stains my brushes like crazy. I need to wash them immediately with Mac brush cleanser, and if i don't they'll be ruined. The other thing i didn't like is that the bright pink and dark blue stained my skin, but the eyeshadows in the Urban Decay electric palette did that too. I mean for something that cost's so little and performs that well i really don't mind. I'll never use these on clients skin tho, i just wouldn't take the risk.
Another note i thought would be useful for you to know, is that the company claim that the ingredients are identical to the ones in the MUFE one. Now, i don't know if that's true because i'm not a scientist and i don't have a lab to test each colour, but at the end of the day it's no different than the 99p Halloween face paint sets from the Pound Stores, use at your own risk and don't blame me if you get a rash!
