A lil Nars Haul & Review

So it was that time again. The time to splurge & oh boy did I do well. I did a lil damage at Mac, Nars, Bobbi Brown and Malin.
There's one brand that's just always on my mind, everything from the packaging, to the kinky product names, to the actual products themselves, i just want everything from them, and it's of course Nars.

I used to love Nars way back when, and I guess I just forgot about it along the way. I have quite a few things in my collection, like limited editions and stuff but the one thing that seems to pop up everywhere online, every time i'm on social media is this damn concealer & that would be the famous Radiant Creamy Concealer.

First off, I only bought this because of the hype. I'm always late to the makeup parties, I always like to wait til' the hype has gone and other than Mac i'm generally not that bothered because half the time the hyped products turn out to be shit and end up going back to the shop. But I will say I do wish I had of RSVP'd to this party a lot quicker. I'm actually in love with this concealer. It does exactly what it says on the tin, it's Radiant and it's Creamy.. It blends beautifully and the lasting power is brilliant. I will say it's more like a brightener than a spot concealer tho... But I do have two let downs. First off the price tag.. I mean £22 for a concealer is crazy?! Especially for something with such little product, 6mls, but we will see when i've used it more if it's really, really worth it. (Look out for up coming favourites or my Nars series) The other let down is that it's so creamy, it creases like a bitch. Like within, 10 seconds with it being under my eyes I look 20 years older. But nothing a little bit of baking won't fix.

I hope this photo gives the creaminess justice.

Second thing I bought was the All Day Luminous Power, this was all thanks to Chloe Morello. Anything she has, I have to have. (Chloe is my ultimate favourite person, ever) I did run out of my Mac Studio Fix Power and I was tempted to just buy another and when I was at Nars I remembered how much Chloe raved about this powder, so I swatched it and oh holy god I bought it right away. It was like nothing i've ever felt before, such a different texture than any powder i've ever tried before and I knew I wanted right away. The colour I wanted was sold out, so I even went up a shade, because i wanted it that much.

It claims that is 'silky' and 'ultrafine' & that it lasts in all weather conditions. It has a medium, buildable coverage and shine controlling properties.. plus a bunch of all these precious ingredients and amazing technologies that I still don't understand. But would I agree, on the 3 different days that I used it, I does do all the things it claims to do, absolutely. I love it. Its super silky.. that was the first thing I noticed. And it's almost undetectable on the skin. Definitely try this out next time you're at a Nars counter, you won't regret it! £33.

The really bad thing is now, is that i've fallen back in love with Nars. Which means my back account will hate me but it's ok. I have pretty makeup to look at.

I will be doing a Nars segment on my The Very Best Of series, so stay tuned for that.. and if you have any recommendations please let me know!
