Morphe Cosmetics

So.. exciting news for all UK beauty junkies, Morphe Brushes is finally here! It's just launched over on Cult Beauty which is one of my favourite beauty websites to get hard to find brands!
Fun fact: When you sign up with Cult beauty they ask you what brand's you'd like them to start selling, and i always put Morphe down! It shows that they take all customers ideas into consideration, which is such a nice bonus!

Anyways, back to the start of the summer, around 3 months ago... i received a lovely email from Morphe's PR department, wanting to know my address to i can try out some of their products and most famously, their award winning brushes! About 10 days later, a huge box came all the way from Cali and in it was a total of 27 brushes, 2 eye palettes and a lip palette.
I've had loads of time to really use each product and really get to know the brand and if you follow me on Instagram you will have seen loads of look books using both the 35C and 35D palettes, which really speak for themselves. Incredible pigment and so easy to blend, i'm not going to ramble on too much about the palettes, because i really think a picture speak's 1000 words.

As some of you may know, i'm makeup brush mad. I have well over 200 makeup brushes, and that was the last time i counted.. I love nothing more than my Mac, Chanel, Bobbi and Dior brushes because i like to invest in them and look after them, that way i'll have them for years and years and never have to worry about them falling apart. The whole 'drugstore' makeup brushes thing never really appealed to me, until the launch of Real Techniques, which i love. But i've never really found anything that affordable and effective, until now. Holy shit. The Morphe brushes are AMAZING! Such good quality brushes, that feel like your using a £20 Mac 217 when it's actually a $5 M514. They wash well and stay intact, and are not too soft but not scratchy, so you get the best blend you could ask for.

My favourites are the M501, which is great for setting under eye concealer, or for applying very specific highlight. The M514, i mean hello, look at it.. 217 anyone? M506 because it's such a great shape for doing things like cut creases and for blending out under the eye because it's not too big, which i find bigger brushes can ruin makeup under the eye because it blends too far down and it can look almost like a black eye. And lastly, my favourite.. the M508. A little, flat hairy bundle of joy. This does everything, from lips, to concealer cutting out, to highlighting the cupids bow, inner corner and under the brow. I do often speak to it, asking it where its been all my life.

For more photos or information on anything, i'm sure you'll get something over on my Instagram, or have a browse on the Cult beauty website! All i can say is good luck on not hitting 'Add to Basket'.. it'll be difficult!
