NEW IN AT CLINIQUE

A few new bits and pieces from Clinique landed on the desk a few weeks ago, and they're worth writing about.
You might notice the little coloured makeup macaron type tubs, because they've been all over my Instagram and Twitter feed recently. They are the cutest little lip duos, one side being a lip scrub and the other a sheer lipbalm.

These Sweet Pots come in at £15 each, and they have a great shade range of 6. I have two, Candies Cassis & Pink Framboise. The lip scrub once you get down into it is quite abrasive which is great, especially at this time of the year when lips aren't looking that great, it really did do a great job at removing any dry patches. The lipbalm doesn't have a lot of pigment, it is more a balm so if you're looking for something with a lot of colour payoff, this isn't for you (maybe try out the Colour Pop Lipsticks for that) but great for people who like to just put a little something on before facing their day.

The Pretty Easy eye palette is Clinique's version of the Naked palette, and might I say I much prefer this one. It has 8 really great colours, with a mixture of warm, cool, matte and shimmery shadows that blend beautifully and do exactly what is says on the tin or in this case, compact.
Within the palette you also get 2 Skinny Liners, a Black and Brown, so this palette is exactly what you need for going on Holidays, or if you fancy treating yourself. The palette is £35 and available from Clinique counters & online.

When it comes to new brow releases, I'm all over them. I love finding new products that are great, quick and easy to use. This palette is exactly that. The thing I love most about this is that you can create a really natural brow, or if you're feeling a bit more daring you can easily do a more dramatic look. It comes with the brow powder, a nice shimmery but more on the shiny side, highlighter and a waxy 'fixative' which is great to set the brows with. It also comes with 4 mini applicators, and for once out of the four, three are actually really great! A handy angle brush, flat shadow brush and a spoolie, plus a pointless sponge. Another note, is the compact comes in one colour which might seem a bit dark or a bit warm, but once tried on it's not what it's like in the pan. Try before you buy!

This is £25, and available from Clinique online & in store.

I really love the fact Clinique are really on it right now. Everything they're brining out is impressing me more and more each time, well done Clinique! And a massive thanks to Chloe at Clinique PR.
