This foundation has been a Youtuber & makeup artists favourite for years, and is always on TV and in Magazines, and I've never even tried it until now. It used to come in a smaller bottle, that really wasn't that easy on the eyes, but now it has blossomed into a lovely, sleek glass bottle that'll look lovely on any vanity. And I mean if it's good enough for Beyonce, it's good enough for me.
This cost me £7.99, It's usually £9.99 but Boots have a 'Save £2' offer on at the moment. Like I mentioned it comes in a really pretty glass bottle with a pump and cap and has the usual 30MLs of product. I got the shade 1.R/1.C Rose Ivory, I'm usually a NW13 in Mac if you want to compare.
This has been all over Youtube and blogs the past few months because of the reformulation and repackaging, and it has nothing but excellent reviews. Honestly, I was hesitant to try it because first of all, there were no testers in store so I had to guess my colour which thankfully it turned out okay and secondly I've had nothing but bad experiences with drugstore foundations before, whether it was the lasting power, the formulation not sitting right or it breaking me out but I'm so pleased to say I absolutely love this foundation!
It has a medium to full (more on the full side) coverage but it's not cakey on my skin, it looks really fresh. From what i've heard the original was very heavy and almost 'mask' like and it tended to cling to dry areas but I didn't experience this at all. It gives such a nice radiant and healthy finish, which I believe is down to the skincare they've added to the new formula.
Obviously with it being more of a dewy foundation, dry skin types will love this, but if you're oily you will need to powder quite a fair bit, just keep that in mind!
Let me know if you're a fan of this foundation and if you're happy or not with the new formulation? I know that I'm really impressed.
Jack x
